William J McGloin died this week. His wife Maria died two months ago in August. The two NEVER went anywhere without each other. NEVER. Marriage at its finest. So of course, we all new when Maria died, Bill would go in search of her right away. And now he has found her. And we miss him. Bill and Maria where longtime clients and friends of my dad, Bob O’Brien. I’m guessing that they have been clients of The O’Brien Family for 50+ years. Their daughter Debbie said she found some VERY old, typewritten policies from my dad. She’s going to bring them to the office. I’ll share later.
Why am on I writing this 1 hour after Bill’s funeral? I am amazed at my life when I look back and see how many “clients” have become MORE than “clients”. The have been and ARE life long friends. In fact they are even more than friends! They are part of our FAMILY. And my life is so ENRICHED because of YOU and them! THANK YOU!!!!!!!
Do you have this kind of relationship with your insurance person? Yes, I know- tons of people HATE insurance and insurance companies. Me too some days. We pay and pay and pay. And if we “use it”, we sometimes get our rates raised. YUCK! And so many say the heck with this and get CHEAP insurance. Go online and get “the cheapest”! And then you have an “issue”. A billing screw-up, someone hits your car, the hot water tank bursts in your home, your son or daughter hit someone. You call 1-800 and who do you get? And do they know where “Glen Falls” is? I hope they CAN help you and fast and get you squared away.
And if this all works for you, wonderful. But if you’re looking for something BETTER? SOMEONE local? Someone who knows where you live? Someone who knows the local body shop, the local contractor? Someone you see at Hannaford of Price Chopper? Someone you see at Church on Sunday or the games on Saturdays? Someone that knows the school you went to? Someone who knows WHAT and WHO is important to you? Someone who can get you BETTER insurance than CHEAP insurance! ( many times LESS than CHEAP insurance )
