We’re insurance guys, we pay attention to detail and try to always practice what we preach. When you hold yourself up to a certain standard, you begin to see people in a different light, often times identifying those people who can push you to become better, whether it’s through competition or inspiration.
Kathie Duncan recently spoke to a packed house for the Network for Enterprising Women, where she shared the story of her triumphant battle against stage 4 Non-Hodgkin’s Lymphoma. The room was filled with emotion as Kathie explained how she found “the cancer experience was an awesome one.” Lessons, rewards and achievement are all things she described as coming from her battle against cancer.
