“I was happy when O’Brien Insurance joined the Fort Edward Chamber, but never imagined that I would need their help. Last month, Mary Ellen and I were in a real nasty car wreck. An oncoming car made a sudden left turn right in front of us and we had a head-on collision. The hit was so hard that it seemed my eyeballs came loose. We both got nasty bruises from the seat belts. We’re both mostly ok now, but it was quite an experience. For weeks we could barely move, we could barely move.
And then the police officer told me the other driver had no insurance card. Ouch, again.

Since the accident, my little Subaru has been fully repaired (very nicely too) and paid for by the other guy’s insurance, both our medical/hospital bills were covered and paid, and we have received the injury payments. I have no idea how the other guy made out, I’ll bet he wished he had someone like Sandy fighting for him. I heard his Chevy Equinox was totaled.
