What is your reaction when you hear an insurance company ad -“15 minutes can ……………”? I think I know what the company is hoping you get from it, but the more I’ve thought about it, the more I think it means- “Look we can get this done in 15 minutes. Its not that big of a deal. I’ll tell you what you need and hopefully you can save some $$$$. And we have to do this fast because I have a lot of other people I have to talk to”.
I have caught myself many times looking at the clock after about twenty minutes with a new client and we’re still taking about their home or their car or their kids, etc. In other words, it takes a lot longer than 15 minutes to do this insurance stuff right. Since insurance isn’t plain vanilla flavor for even two different people, the way you do it right is to give people their due and take the time to get the insurance they need. Do it the RIGHT way.
